Overview

  • Course Overview
  • The PMP Exam Prep, 3 day, course, is designed to give the student the opportunity to study PMI's 5 process groups, 10 knowledge areas and 49 processes, including a practice exam. The recommended scenario is for PMP students to have an approved PMI exam application before attending the class and scheduling the PMP exam for the day after the class or within the following week. This course also gives students studying for the CAPM the knowledge that they need to take the CAPM exam as well as the 23 hours of project management education that PMI requires to sit for the CAPM exam. The course utilizes PMI's PMBOK 6th edition, and "The PMP Exam, How to Pass on Your First try", by Andy Crowe to assist the student with learning the PMI WAY.
  • Audience
  • The course includes PMI foundational concepts, PMI's five process groups and ten knowledge areas. This 3 day version assumes that the student already have spent time studying the exam material, PMBOK, and other relevant material. If not expect to spend time studying before the exam.

This course assumes that you have project management and other educational experience, as required by PMI, in order to take the exam. In addition, it's expected either that you have already applied to take the exam, or that you plan to do so while taking this course or shortly thereafter; this course contains instructions for doing so
