The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting people around the world, resulting in health care systems being overwhelmed, people being confinded to their homes, restrictions on travel, and the closure of businesses and industries. Because of this, many people are struggling with uncertainty and fear.
This course aims to combat this by helping people understand the situation, and what they can do to protect themselves and others, while looking after their mental wellness.
Understanding and Coping with the COVID-19 Pandemic provides information about: COVID-19 and how it spreads, how to protect yourself during this pandemic, what self-isolation and self-quarantine mean, what to do if you become sick, psychological reactions to the situation, ways to manage stress and anxiety caused by the situation, and proper techniques for washing hands, using hand sanitizer, using maskes, and cleaning and disinfecting.
Course Cost listed does not include the cost of courseware. Course is subject to a minimum enrollment to run.
